pfSense at work?

Yes we are planning to get rid of a few ISA Servers in favor of pfsense, the main reason is his LoadBlanace function and CARP.

Yep, PFSense CARP works fine, but you can’t use the Active Directory built-in user and groups, for example. ISA Server also offers a solution like CARP. Yes, PFSense if more cost-effective, but you will lost some (very important, IMHO) features.

Yes we know, but those ISA are not joined into our domain, they are just doing some basic routing.
